Caroline Dubois, raised by her Grenadian father, entered the boxing world at nine. Initially at a top club where her brother trained, she posed as a boy named Colin during her early days at Repton Amateur Boxing Club.
During the 2017 European Junior Championships, Dubois secured the title by defeating Nune Asatrian through a unanimous points decision in the final.
In the subsequent year, she achieved victory at the English National Youth Championships (60 kg), prevailing over Ellis Hopkins with a unanimous points decision.
