Fans were excited about a grudge match between Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte on August 12, driven by their history since their amateur days. Unfortunately, Dillian Whyte's failed doping test led to his replacement by Robert Helenius. What was Joshua's reaction to the news? Let's find out!
He was asked, "Josh, Dillian, what did put a statement now, which I’m sure you might have read? Uh, what do you think about that?"
To this, Anthony Joshua laughed and remarked that Dillian Whyte couldn't have been the one to write the statement.
Joshua said, "“…but I do think, um, it’s not a good situation for anyone. Look, I don’t wish, in a way, bad you know what I’m trying to say. Um, I’m not going to be laughing at him and ripping him down because it’s only a p***y rips, someone when they’re down, and that’s not me, but um, it’s not right, and he lives to fight.”
'AJ,' Anthony Joshua, is scheduled to make his comeback in the boxing ring this Saturday night at The O2 Arena in London, England. This will be his first match since his victory over Jermaine Franklin in April.
Originally, his opponent was supposed to be Dillian Whyte, who had previously suffered a knockout defeat to Joshua in their initial encounter back in December 2015. However, due to Whyte's multiple failed drug tests, he was substituted with Robert Helenius.
