Francis Ngannou is set to make his boxing debut against Tyson Fury, the WBC heavyweight champion, in just a few days. It's worth noting that Ngannou has never had a single professional boxing match. Eddie Hearn has suggested an unexpected boxer who could potentially defeat Ngannou with ease.
In a recent interview with NoSmokeSport, Eddie Hearn openly questioned Francis Ngannou's ability to win a southern area title in boxing.
He asked, "Would Francis Ngannou win a southern area title now?" and went on to answer his own question, "And the answer is not in a million years."
He confidently pointed out a fighter who, in his view, could defeat Francis Ngannou, "Johnny Fisher is a southern area champion. One round – he beats Francis Ngnnou, and the fight’s over."
Hearn is convinced that the upcoming fight between Fury and Ngannou is such a one-sided bout that he is sure even a regional champion could triumph over Ngannou, let alone face one of the greatest boxing heavyweights of all time.
