Terence Crawford's trainer, Brian 'BoMac' McIntyre, has disclosed that a rematch between the undisputed welterweight champion and Errol Spence Jr. is indeed in the works.
However, there is no information about an official date for the Errol Spence Jr and Terence Crawford rematch.
McIntyre revealed that the rematch clause was triggered on Wednesday. He stated, "'[Crawford] just texted me yesterday and said that Spence activated his rematch. The rematch is confirmed but we don't have any date and stuff like that yet.'
McIntyre expressed his hope that the second Spence-Crawford bout could take place before the end of the year.
