Discussing his recent fight, Jake Paul and Nate Diaz initially agreed to have a rematch inside the cage after Jake's victory over Nate Diaz in early August. However, Paul is now claiming that Nate has avoided their $10 million deal.
Jake Paul offered Nate Diaz a two-fight contract, with the first fight in the boxing ring and the second in the MMA cage, in addition to their boxing match on August 5.
Nate agreed, but with the condition that it doesn't happen in the PFL, as he had no affiliation with that promotion.
Paul mentioned this during an interview, stating, "We’re at the drawing board right now. Nate Diaz ducked the $10 million offer, so he’s not the bada*s that everyone said he was."
Paul also stated, "I wanted to fight him in MMA and do something that no boxer has really ever done, which is, in the prime of their career, go over to MMA. MMA fighters have gone over to boxing, but I want to go over to MMA and Nate Diaz ducked the offer."
Jake Paul, who transitioned from YouTuber to MMA fighter, maintained his undefeated record by defeating Nate Diaz in their bout. The match took place at the packed American Airlines Centre, and Paul secured a unanimous victory with scores of 97-92, 98-91, and 98-91.
