Early Start

Stevenson was born in New Jersey and is the eldest of nine siblings. He took up boxing aged 5 under his grandfather Wali Moses. 

Olympic Glory 

Stevenson had an extremely successful amateur career winning multiple titles and tournaments. His biggest achievement as an amateur was winning the silver medal at the 2016 Olympic games.

Professional Debut 

Stevenson made his professional debut in April 2017 against Edgar Brito. 

First Title 

Stevenson won his first title when he stopped Jessie Rosales in round four to win the vacant IBF intercontinental and the WBC continental Americas featherweight titles.

Stevenson faces arguably his biggest test to date as he takes on Nakathila for the WBO interim junior lightweight title.
