Apart from boxing, Mike Tyson has ventured into multiple other platforms. He runs the popular podcast Hotboxin' with Mike Tyson, and has also appeared in several movies and TV series. He also has a video game to his name. However, what's amusing is that the man himself has not played this game at all!
Nintendo of America president, Minoru Arakawa, was greatly impressed by Tyson's "power and skill" after watching one of his fights.
This led Arakawa to propose the inclusion of Tyson in the upcoming Nintendo Entertainment System port of the Punch Out!! arcade game.
Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! was released by Nintendo in 1987 and received positive reception, resulting in over a million copies being sold.
According to Deniz Kahn, the founder and president of Wata and a video game collector, the estimated value of the copy of the game is between $70,000 and $80,000.
However, Mike Tyson himself has never played the game. This was revealed by American rapper, Tony Yayo in an interview with DJ Vlad.
