Oleksandr Usyk, the celebrated Ukrainian boxer, became the undisputed cruiserweight world champion by holding the WBO, WBC, IBF, and Ring magazine titles simultaneously.Let's look at five of his notable achievements in his boxing career!

In his amateur career, Usyk won the heavyweight gold at the 2011 World Championships and 2012 Olympics. At the London 2012 Olympics, he secured the gold by outpointing opponents like Beterbiev, Pulev, and Russo, winning the final 6-3.

In 2013, Usyk transitioned to professional boxing, and by his 15th pro fight in 2018, he became the undisputed cruiserweight champion. This victory marked Usyk as the inaugural four-belt undisputed cruiserweight champion, achieved in a bout against Murat Gassiev.

Usyk stands among just three boxers, including Evander Holyfield and David Haye, who have accomplished the feat of holding unified cruiserweight world titles and ascending to become world heavyweight champions.

During the 2011 World Amateur Boxing Championships, he emerged victorious in the heavyweight category by overcoming Artur Beterbiev and Teymur Mammadov. This secured both the heavyweight title and his qualification for the 2012 Summer Olympics.
