Stallone played the eponymous role of Rocky Balboa in the Rocky franchise and has earned a baffling salary. The actor has benefited enormously from the franchise's popularity which established him as an actor, director, and producer.
The series has so far grossed over $1.7 billion, which includes the six Rocky movies and two Creed spin-offs. Stallone earned $35,000 for the 25-day shoot which included his writing and acting salary together, as per Variety. But his contract which gave him 10 points on the back end led him to earn around $2.5 million due to the film's huge success.
Stallone earned a total of $75,000 payday with Rocky II, which was later increased to another $120,000 for Rocky III, as per Variety.
