The Reason Behind Dillon Danis's Inactivity From MMA

Danis, once a promising jiu-jitsu prospect, gained recognition as Conor McGregor's training partner before entering MMA with Bellator in 2019. After two fights, he vanished for over three years due to a serious injury. Let's look at all the details about the reason behind his absence!

The prominent reason behind Danis' inactivity was his knee surgery, "I had the knee surgery at HSS [Hospital for Special Surgery], which is supposed to be the best."

He stated that the surgery failed,  "My graft failed, completely failed."

As per Danis, "So I had to get another surgery, which is another year. So basically two surgeries within a year, they said it’s like being in two car accidents."

Danis was sidelined not only due to his knee injury but also because plans to box Logan Paul were disrupted by Paul's WWE commitments.

Another reason behind Danis' Inactivity

Danis talked about Logan not updating him and wasting his time, "...I wasted so much time because I was like, ‘I’m going to fight Logan.’ He just kind of had me waiting and I could have come back already. That was the only thing that pissed me off about him."
