Amir Khan, a former light-welterweight boxing champion, recently spoke about the physical toll the sport took on his body during a podcast. Despite retiring in 2022, his injuries sustained during his career remain a topic of discussion.
Khan has been injured, with bruises and swelling, leading to his last fight against Brook being called off in the sixth round. In a podcast, he recalled fighting with a broken hand and the subsequent surgery involving bone grafting and screws.
He stated, “So what happened? You got 8 balls of that and mine one lifted and there was a muscle gap. So now what they have done, they have taken the bone from my hips cemented in there and put 7 screws.”
The ex-boxer shared it on Instagram too, revealing the effects of boxing. Khan recovered from hand injury after surgery.
