Australian F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo has not only found a massive following in the United States but also a love for the sport of NASCAR.
“Yeah, maybe at a lower level, yes, just to kind of dip my toe in the water, but like if someone offered me, “Do you want to race NASCAR this weekend on an oval?” I’d be like, “No, I’ll walk before I can run.”
Daniel has been very outspoken about his love for NASCAR and NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt.
Apart from using the same racing number as his idol Dale Earnhardt, he also grabbed the opportunity to drive the 1984 Chevrolet Monte Carlo that was once driven by Dale.
