After the first lap crash, the race got halted. And after the restart, Lewis Hamilton was the only driver on the grid to start the race as the rest of the grid piled into the pits and started the race from the pitlane.

Kimi Slow Pitstop!

Kimi Raikkonen was already awarded a 10-second penalty for being released into Nikita Mazepin's path when the field piled into the pits on the second formation lap. The Iceman entered the pit to suffer his stop and go penalty which lasted for 17.3 seconds.

The two-time world champion, Fernando Alonso showed massive resilience to keep the Knight at Bay. After a 10 lap battle between the two giants for the fourth place, Hamilton finally overtook the Spaniard at Turn 2 of Hungaroring.
