Steinar talks about his relationship with drivers

Recently, Steinar said, “When drivers get to F1, they know what is expected from them. I normally have quite a good relationship with drivers. I treat them very respectfully... I know what they have to do. I support them. When they’ve got issues, I say call me up. If they have something to ask, they are free to call me up.”

Steinar defended his controversial statement on Schumacher

Speaking about his comments on ‘Drive to Survive’, Steinar said, “It’s a way of saying that there is in America. but I didn’t mean that Mick was dead or something like that. Maybe it was a clumsy statement because the German translation was too harsh and direct… We said goodbye in the paddock when we arrived. I will definitely talk to him if the opportunity arises… Personally, I have no problem with the guy. The relationship was made to look worse than it was.”
