Ferreri driver Charles Leclerc is having a really mediocre season. So far, he only achieved one podium finish at the Azerbaijan GP. Despite poor form, he showed great character, as he recently raised a massive amount of money for a noble cause. He auctioned off his race gear for the cause, as he announced it on social media.
After the Miami GP, a race was scheduled in Emilia-Romagna, which is located in Italy. Unfortunately, F1 decided the postpone the race due to heavy rainfall and flooding in that area. Moreover, many people have lost their lives as well.

Recently, the Monacan racing ace took to Twitter and posted a video, where he announced that he will be auctioning his race gear from the Monaco GP. He said, “I decided to sell all my racing kits from my home Grand Prix… It was raining, so you can see everything is still a little bit dirty… the gloves that I wore during the race, the racing shoes that I wore during the race, of course, the racing suit together with the fireproof underwears, and finally, my racing helmet from the race.”
Later, the Ferreri driver took to his Instagram story to announce that he raised €358,000, which is roughly $380,000. He wrote, “Thank you so much to all the people who did participate to the auction. 358,000 euros is an incredible amount that I’m sure will help many people. Thank you so much.”
