Charles Leclerc is having a pretty mediocre season with the Ferrari team. Before the Austrian GP, F1 had a week off. During that time, Leclerc went back to his roots, as he visited a kart racing in Italy, to support his cousin. Meanwhile, another young karter met his hero and they shared a wholesome moment. Fans showed love for Leclerc after seeing their beautiful moment.

Leclerc’s love for karting



The Ferrari driver has always been a big fan of karting, as he often credits his F1 success to his karting days. He also created his own karting brand in association with Birel ART. Recently, he attended round 4 of the WSK Open series in Napoli, where his 10-year-old cousin Andrea Manni was taking part. Unfortunately, the young racer finished in 14th place.




Little fan shares a wholesome moment with his idol



Although Leclerc was attending the race for his cousin, he certainly made another racer incredibly happy. David Moscardi, who finished the race in 13th place met his idol, Leclerc. He clicked some pictures and wrote, “Even tho the race didn’t go well (P13), you have your idol behind your back and that fills you with happiness.”
