Sam Michael recently praised Lewis Hamilton for acknowledging his errors and growing from them. After the Monaco GP, Lando Norris was spotted in a comparable circumstance. But it wasn't really his fault. The supporters sympathised with the British player's sincere apologies to his squad and stood behind Lando Norris throughout this trying time while criticising Charles Leclerc. What actually transpired and what did the supporters say?
McLaren turned up to the Monaco GP qualifying with everything they had got. The Papaya team seemed to have forgotten the woes as Oscar Piastri just missed out on Q3 and will be starting P11. Lando Norris managed to make it to Q3 but will be starting P10. This performance is a major improvement from the previous races. Nevertheless, it wasn’t a session without worries as Lando Norris hit the barrier toward the end of his Q2 run.
In a video uploaded by @ScenarioSeven on Twitter, Lando Norris can be seen parked up inside his MCL60 at the Parc Ferme. The Briton apologized to his team and is heard saying, “Sorry about all of that, f*cked it up again. Isn’t where we should’ve been but… My Apologies.” The Race engineer replies ” No Worries mate”. The tone with which Lando Norris was delivering the message made it seem like he was gutted about what had happened.
