Why Hamilton hasn’t signed a new deal?

Hamilton is still targeting the elusive 8th Championship, which will make him the most decorated F1 driver of all time. However, Mercedes are falling behind Red Bull, and they are currently out of the Championship picture. That’s why Hamilton was waiting to sign a new deal. Now, it seems like he has changed his mind and will earn more than his current salary, i.e. $35 million.

Mercedes to offer Hamilton a massive deal

As per Daily Mail, Mercedes will offer Hamilton his final F1 contract, which will see him earn $63 million. There will also be some special clauses in his contract, as he will serve as a Mercedes Brand Ambassador in the future.
