Lewis Hamilton's Frustrating Radio Call Questioning Mercedes After a Disappointing Miami GP Qualifying

The second Miami Grand Prix is directly in front of the Formula 1 audience's eyes. However, the 3.36-mile Miami International Autodrome circuit's Q2 knockout of their beloved driver has left the LH Army's eyes watering. On a last flying lap, Lewis Hamilton set a time of 1:27.975 with a margin of 1.161 seconds to session leader Max Verstappen, finishing P13 overall.

The twist

The twist, though, is that both Mercedes went deep on the track towards the end of the practise session. George Russell advanced to the third qualifying round as a result, but Lewis did not. The British man left, saying over the radio, "We left that for way too late guys." After that, the supporters immediately took to social media to criticise the team's preparation and tactics. The driver and his supporters were incensed when he promised enhancements and more room.

LH Army left furious after Lewis Hamilton exited qualifying

It was always risky for Lewis Hamilton to step onto the track too late. After touching the wall in Q1 and with the prospect of an early exit hanging over the Briton's head, his issues became more serious. Hamilton's devoted supporters were frustrated and disappointed despite the promise of a comeback since they had hoped to see him earn a great starting position for the forthcoming race.

The gap between russell and Hamilton

The gap between Russell and Hamilton was a little over two-tenths as he only went P10 in the session, and Mercedes will continue to work late into the night in an effort to fix the problems with the W14. Hamilton had a rough start to the session, finding himself at risk of falling behind and ending up in the bottom five drivers. He put in consecutive yellow sectors, sending his efforts to the bin.
