Max Verstappen did not have a perfect British GP Qualifying as he finished P2 behind the Ferrari of Carlos Sainz, but his lightning fast performance was really appreciated by the F1 world. With that being said, let's take a look at his performance at the British GP.
In Q3, Verstappen experienced one tense moment as he approached the Vale chicane. Verstappen spun at the Stowe corner but skillfully held on to the car to perform a 360-degree spin. The most extraordinary thing about the save was that he only finished some 3 tenths behind Charles Leclerc and was a second up on Lewis Hamilton.
Verstappen told during his post race interview that the rain made it a bit tricky and the racers had to find the pace at the right time. "Q3 can be a bit of a lottery sometimes," he added.
