$49 Million dollar rumors

Earlier last week, some reports over Ferrari offering Hamilton $49 million started doing the rounds of the internet. That was despite Hamilton talking about his commitment to signing another contract with Mercedes and no other team. Even team boss Toto Wolff told that the team was not looking for another driver but prioritizing another deal with their loyal champion.

Charles Leclerc’s cheeky answer to Lewis Hamilton

The Monaco GP weekend is about to start and with that started the series of drivers’ interviews and press conferences. Naturally, the reports of Hamilton’s possible Ferrari move were the central point of most questions. During the official FIA’s press conference, when journalist Will Buxton asked Leclerc what he looked for in a teammate, the Monegasque simply laughed, turned to Hamilton, and said, “Hello Lewis!”

That is the part of the answer that is doing the rounds of the internet and causing a frenzy among Sainz fans. In the rest of the response that F1 posted in full, Leclerc said, “I mean, a fast teammate as everybody, we are in Formula 1 and we love to be fighting against the best. But that’s not to say that my teammate is not fast. Carlos is an extremely fast driver. But yeah, considering that I mean, I’m not the person who makes the choices. So, yeah, let’s see.”
