Lewis Hamilton is all set to start the Spanish GP in 4th place after a horrible incident took place in Q2 against his own teammate, George Russell. Notably, Hamilton’s front wing hit Russell’s front left wheel. Fans found similarities with this incident, as they had flashbacks of one infamous crash that took place in the 2016 Spanish GP involving Hamilton and Nico Rosberg.

During the first lap of the 2016 Spanish GP, Hamilton crashed into Rosberg trying to overtake him, which ended their race early. Notably, fans are still divided regarding who was at fault.
During Q2 of the Spanish GP, Hamilton was on a flying lap, when his front wing hit Russell’s front left tire. Hamilton had to withdraw from his lap, as there were some damages in his car. Despite that, Hamilton qualified for Q3; unfortunately, Russell got eliminated from Q2. After the incident, Russell said that he had no idea Hamilton was behind him.
