Major League Soccer's growth over the past decade has attracted the attention of some of the most famous — and most wealthy — celebrities in the nation.
With the league expanded to 32 teams, as Charlotte FC became the latest club to add its name to the standings, there's plenty of room for famous athletes, actors, singers, and other celebrities to invest in the league.

At two-years-old, most of us would be lucky to have a strong walk and be able to utter a few words. But when it comes to the daughter of arguably the best tennis player of all time, Serena Williams, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. is already following in her mother’s footsteps by working her way into the sports world. Alexis has become the youngest person to become a co-owner of a professional sports team

Williams also joined her daughter to become part owners of a new Los Angeles-based women’s soccer team, currently dubbed Angel City.

Having a name like Serena Williams stand as co-owner of a football team has to put a kick in the step of its players, surely. But you need only look at the other celebrities that have joined Williams and invested in the team to see that Williams is just one of many stars to show their support for the women’s team.
