Oldest Players to make a cut on the PGA Tour 

Making the cut in a professional golf tournament is no cakewalk. Here are the five oldest players to have made it to the weekend at a PGA Tour event

Sam Snead 

Sam Snead grabbed the 74th position in the 1979 Manufacturers Hanover Westchester's classics when he was 67 years old, 2 months and 21 days. Snead at that time was the oldest player to make a PGA Tour cut, a record that stands to date.

Phil Mickelson 

Mickelson made it to the weekend at the 2022 Fortinet Championship and finished T36. Phil was 51 years, 3 months and 3 days old at the time of making the cut.

John Senden 

At the age of 50 years, 6 months and 11 days Senden finished at T67 position at the 2021-22 Butterfield Bermuda Championship.

Brian Gay 

Brian Gay, at the age of 49 years years old, 10 months and 26 days, finished  at T12 position at the 2022 Butterfield Bermuda Championship.
