“There has been a couple of things that I’ve done that haven’t worked out exactly the way that I’ve wanted them to,” Spiranac said in her podcast. “My golf career being one of them.” She explained that if it wasn’t for golf, she would never have chosen the career she has now.

“Sometimes, even trying something new and failing will lead you to even more success,” the former pro-golfer said. “So you can’t be afraid to fail you can’t be afraid to try. And again, it might not work,” Paige added. “But every failure is going to lead you one step closer to success.”

Born in Colorado, Paige Renee Spiranac always showed an interest in sports. She wanted to be a gymnast. However, multiple knee injuries led her to drop that dream. At 12, she tried tennis with her aunt but figured it didn’t suit her and started golfing with her father.
