The Colombian PGA golfer, Camilo Villegas, revealed some unknown facts about Tiger Woods during an interview on GOLF’s Subpar podcast. He spilled the beans about his relationship with the former no.1 and said he feels’ trapped’ with the legendary golfer. Villegas regrets teeing up alongside the greatest golfer.
Camilo said, “All the eyes were on Tiger, then you see the guys who are close to him, and they get trapped from a media point of view to the Tiger life, and I didn’t want that.” He only got closer to the PGA golfer when he played a few practice rounds with him.
The Colombian golfer clarified that he had nothing against the 82 times PGA tour winner. He even accepted that it was hard to be Woods for one day, even though people wanted to be with him. They are not very close, and we know that the legendary golfer mostly keeps to himself. All his friends are close to the golfer, so he only has a few friends.
Woods is an outstanding golfer and a role model for aspiring young golfers. However, he had some hard times in his life, but not all golfers disliked him. When the former no. 1 objected to the golfers leaving PGA and moving to LIV, Mickelson did not lash out. He said that he respects his opinion.
