Phil Mickelson Once Made an Honest Confession About Tiger Woods

Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods have both enjoyed a friendly rivalry. Moreover, the two golfing legends have played against each other in various events and enjoy friendly banter. However, the six-time major championship winner once spoke a few beautiful words for the 15-time major championship winner.

Mickelson had debuted and had already claimed some titles even before Tiger came into the big picture. However, the young talent soon leveled the table and won more, including something Phil couldn’t until many years later, the majors.

Mickelson put his name in the history books at the 2021 PGA Championship. He won the 2021 PGA Championship and became the oldest major championship winner. He broke the record of Julius Boros, who won the 1968 PGA Championship at the age of 48. However, the lefty won the event at 50 in 2021.
