Mickelson’s dominance at the pinnacle of the sport is unmatched. The golfer won his 6th Major last year, after claiming the 2021 PGA Championship, making him the oldest Major winner ever. Nonetheless, Phil decided to move to LIV Golf the following year for a reported contract worth $200 million.
The 52-year-old won $94,955,060 as career earnings during his time at the PGA Tour. The exorbitant amount of money earned by Phil Mickelson made him the second-highest all-time earner of the 92-year-old Tour, only behind his friend and rival Tiger Woods.
The 6 time Major winner reportedly earned a total of $138 million, out of which only $36 million came off the course, while the rest $102 million came on course, thanks to his contract with the LIV Golf. Phil already made nearly $8 million more at the lucrative series in a few months compared to his earnings of almost three decades in the PGA Tour.
