Their divorce received a lot of media coverage and was hailed as one of the most significant American divorce cases. The golf world massively criticized Tiger for cheating on his wife. Years after their divorce, the 15-time Major winner finally disclosed his regret about being disloyal to his ex-wife.

What did Tiger Woods had to say about divorcing Elin Nordegren?

In 2017, Woods released two books which were mostly centered around his Masters triumphant. However, in one of the books, he did mention his regrets in his life. One of the most prominent confessions was divorcing Elin Nordegren.

What did Woods say?

“My regret will last a lifetime”, said Tiger while speaking on his alleged scandal, which eventually led to his separation from the Swedish model. However, Woods then disclosed how the pair had maintained a good relationship, despite being divorced for the welfare of their children.

Woods had more to add.

The 46-year-old added, “Still, Elin and I are devoted to our kids, and we have become best friends as we care for them. It’s all about the kids for us”. The ex-couple has stuck to their word. Moreover, Woods even described Nordegren as his best friend during an interview in 2015.

Now, both Tiger, as well as Elin, have moved on.

Woods is currently dating Erica Herman since 2017, while Nordegren gave birth to a boy with former NFL Tight end, Jordan Cameron. Despite all that, their respect and bond have only gotten stronger, all for the love of their children.
