7 Years After Defeating Cancer, Texas Rangers Coach Expresses Gratitude Following a Major MLB Victory

Texas Rangers have started the 2023 season in great fashion, as they are on top of the AL West division. After their latest victory over the Colorado Rockies, the Rangers 3rd base coach Tony Beasley became emotional as he shared heartwarming news with his fans.

Tony Beasley’s battle against cancer

In 2016, Beasley was diagnosed with Stage 3 Rectal cancer. After going through chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery, he beat the cancer. And a year later, he joined the Rangers once again.

Beasley’s emotional statement

Recently, Beasley took to Twitter and celebrated his victory over cancer after beating the Rockies. He said, “Today marks 7 years cancer free! I am so blessed and grateful for all God has done in my life! He deserves all the honor and all the glory for healing my body! Trust in God and never doubt and he’ll do unbelievable things in your life! Stay blessed!!!”

Another cancer survivor is getting ready to return

Well, Beasley was not the only one who beat cancer. Chicago White Sox pitcher Liam Hendriks announced back in January that he was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Now, it seems like he has made a miraculous recovery and could make his way to MLB once again.
