Despite $40 Million Promise, Aaron Judge Could Make a Lot Less Every Year According to $600 Million Investor

Aaron Judge had a record-breaking season last year for the New York Yankees. As a result, he bagged a massive deal with the Yankees this off-season. However, as per his current contract, he will earn much less money. Recently, $600 million investor, Grant Cardone revealed the reason why.

Aaron Judge’s record-breaking season

Last season, Judge hit 62 home runs, the most by any player in a single season since a fellow Yankees player, Roger Maris created the record back in 1961, almost 61 years ago.

Judge's huge contract with the Yankees

This off-season, Judge signed a 9-year contract with the Yankees, worth $360 million. Interestingly, he denied a 10-year, $400 million deal with the San Diego Padres because he wanted to build a legacy for the Yankees.

As per Grant Cardone, Judge will pay half of the money to the government in taxes. “The Federal Government and the State of New York are going to crush this guy. Probably 20 million a year, I would expect, somewhere about 20 million a year times 9,” Cardone said recently.
