Alex Bowman is on Thin Ice at Hendrick Motorsports

Alex’s future with Hendrick Motorsports depends on the 2023 NASCAR season as he will be the driver to be replaced if there is any change in the team’s lineup.

Bowman has come a long way

From being a replacement driver for Dale Earnhardt Jr. in 2016 to taking over Earnhardt’s No. 88 as a full-time driver with Hendrick Motorsports, Bowman has proved his skill.

Alex had a great 2021 season

2021 was the best season for Bowman when it came to securing wins as he visited Victory Lane 4 times that year.

No contract beyond 2023

All of Alex’s teammates have multiple-year extensions with HMS, which puts his spot with HMS at stake. Alex has a lot riding on his performance this upcoming season.
