Earlier, Bubba Wallace announced that he was extending his contract with 23XI Racing. This news comes on the back of a dream run for the #23 driver, with four consecutive Top 10 finishes. Suffice to say, the new contract was a great reward for his efforts. The best part is that it is a multi-year contract, so Wallace will be around when Tyler Reddick eventually joins the outfit.
Wallace said, “I’ve obviously been trying to do my best this year and made some mistakes along the way, that the team wasn’t happy about.”“But we worked on those things and we’re here.”
”It’s part of racing, part of sports, part of growing up and maturing. From day 1 of joining this team, I wanted to make this where I retire, a place that I call home for a really long time. Just try to do the best that I can and continue those efforts,” said Wallace.
