Recently, Wallace appeared in a YouTube podcast episode of Corie LaJoie’s Stacking Pennies alongside Ryan ‘Skip’ Flores. During the interview, Wallace opened up about a lot of stuff, including his contract extension, journey to temper control, and recent string of success.
Wallace when answering the question, which was where the car swap scenario popped up, Bubba Wallace said, “The most laps that I’ve turned on an F1 game is probably Australia. So, I’d like to do that.” Wallace’s answer immediately reminded Ryan ‘Skip’ Flores of Italian-Australian F1 driver, Daniel Ricciardo.
Daniel Ricciardo is speculated to be a part of Trackhouse’s Project 91. Ricciardo, who is currently competing in the 2022 FIA Formula One World Drivers Championship, drives for McLaren- Mercedes. One of the top performers on the Australian tracks, Ricciardo has around 8 Grand Prix victories in Formula One.
Hearing Wallace’s answer about driving on an Australian track, Skip immediately said, “Call Daniel Ricciardo,” to which Corey added, “He might come over to do Track (Trackhouse’s) Project 91 next year.”Corey further went on to say, “Come on with it… that’d be cool. That’d be a hell of a fun driver lineup. Might not run worth a s**t but we’d have some fun.”
