In an earlier interview with NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe, NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace had come clean on many things in a long, candid conversation. One of those things was the ban on the controversial Confederate Flag and the 23XI Racing driver’s role in that.
Wallace admitted that for a very long time, he wasn’t quite aware of what that flag fully represented or stood for. This prompted him to do his research and fill up his tank of knowledge on the same.
“I did that and I’m like, ‘Okay, this is causing a lot of hurt and pain and isolating our demographic to where we’re at.’ Wallace revealed that anyone who was not on board, were “gladly shown the door”, he described.
