So far this season, Bubba Wallace hasn’t really tasted much success apart from his top-5 finish in Las Vegas. Apart from that, the 23XI star’s season so far is riddled with inconsistent performances and results. But going into the Circuit of The Americas, Wallace could finally have some joy.
As the state of the field came into the picture after practice at COTA with Bubba Wallace in 2nd place, a NASCAR fan hilariously remarked, “I like Bubba but if he’s that fast on Sunday the 23 will be going to R&D for sure.”
This reaction to Wallace’s pace was so hilarious that it even caught the driver’s attention as he reacted with a simple but appropriate – “Bahahahahahah.”
“It’s definitely a good spot for us to be in, with the utmost confidence that I’ve had to date to start a season. Excited to get the season started. I think we just have to keep showing up with that confidence. It’s a long season; the confidence can definitely get lost in translation.”
