Wallace could be looking at a $1 Million loss in fines from the 23XI purse. It’s a big deal to lose a million when his reported salary is $2.2 Million a year. But Denny Hamlin has a good reason for it, and he takes a shot at Bubba’s values on track, which don’t align with his team’s philosophy.
“He understands where I stand, where the team stands, the values that we want to present on the racetrack, and he just didn’t represent it that well last week,” Hamlin said. “But, you know, in the grand scheme of things, we’re very happy with his progress.”
