Dale Earnhardt Jr Caught Out by Kyle Busch’s Gun Incident That Could’ve Landed Him in Jail for Three Years

Carrying a licensed firearm is no offense. But doing so in a foreign country without permission can lead to trouble. Kyle Busch seems to have forgotten exactly this when he headed to Mexico carrying a handgun.

Why was Kyle detained?

Kyle Busch was detained for illegally carrying a concealed firearm in Mexico. The Richard Childress Racing driver was allegedly carrying a “caliber pistol-type firearm inside .38 with magazine stocked with six useful hollow point cartridges.”

What did Dale Jr say?

“I didn’t know whether it was a real story or not, whether it was some type of [story] you know, where you check the Twitter handle and make sure it’s not a parody account. I just was questioning whether it was real or not. I’m like, you know, just like anybody else. Like, what? Yeah. Is this real? Yeah. Well, and then.”

Dale Jr is in disbelief

Dale Jr simply didn’t believe that Busch would be the person who’d carry a weapon. He admitted, “I didn’t see Kyle Busch as the kind with a concealed carry permit.”
