On lap 190, Chastain got quite close to Kevin Harvick’s rear bumper quickly around the corner while fighting for the lead, resulting in the Stewart-Haas Racing driver losing control of his car. As a result, 12 cars got caught up in the incident.
As per nascar.nbcsports.com, the 2014 Cup Series champ said, “I don’t think he actually even hit me, but it started chattering the rear tires and then I was just along for the ride.”
