Denny Hamlin and Ross Chastain have been feuding since the Phoenix race earlier. The recent race in Kansas saw Chastain having an altercation with Noah Gragson. In his recent podcast, Hamlin praised Chastain for his sensible racing on the track. However, he later regretted his comments.
During the Kansas race, Chastain allegedly pinned Gragson into the wall, which really upset Gragson. After the race, Gragson grabbed him and Chastain punched him in the face. Before things could escalate, the security persons stepped up and stopped the fight.

Dirty Mo Media posted Hamlin’s comments on Instagram. Talking about Chastain, he said, “He’s finding a warm place in my heart, Chastain. He really is. I mean, since Phoenix, which you, which is what’s supposed to happen is you get into it, you talk it out, you’re very rational which we were.”

“I wanted him to know that, hey I recognized you cut me a couple of breaks this race so it’s I want you to know it is in my piggy bank that you know when the roles are reversed and he’s faster, I probably need to let him go a couple of times as well so that’s how I think it’s supposed to be done.”

On the Dirty Mo Media post, Hamlin later commented, “Delete Immediately.” It’s not clear why he posted that, but it seems like he didn’t want to appear to be taking sides in the ongoing feud between Noah Gragson and Chastain.
