The Joe Gibbs Racing driver was on the podcast ‘Actions detrimental with Denny Hamlin’ called Bumper Tags Still Hurt. The podcast host and Hamlin got talking about a few details of the recent race and wrecks that happened at The Clash at the Coliseum.
“At the end of the race, I got taken out like again by Byron and I was p*ssed. I was spun around sideways on the track and I am giving him the finger. You know, and he’s not really doing anything or retaliating.”
“So I get out of the car and I turn around and I mean mug him and walked over to him and like, ‘dude what the f*ck’. I didn’t touch you and you like blew the corner. And he’s like, ‘no bro Harvick was p*ssed at me and power drove me after the race and I just ran into you.’ I’m like, ‘oh sh*t I’m sorry man that’s my fault.”
“And I watched that. Harvick, I think, is mad at the wrong guy. I think Noah plowed the #24 (Byron’s car), cause you can see alright when you watch the replays right and it shows them the bumper can. When you see the bump and then it jars the camera and another stronger bump, they are getting hit from behind.”
