Wallace’s spotter, Kraft took to Twitter and posted a video that showed a major flaw in the North Wilkesboro Speedway. The newly built spotters’ stand is located at the lowest point of the track. Moreover, it is lower than the grandstands that surround the corner in Turns 1 and 2.

Kraft told NASCAR about the issue

In an interview, Kraft said, “Last week they had an open house here and some of the spotters came to take pictures and I noticed from the pictures that it would be too low once the infield filled in. We reached out to NASCAR at that point, and they’ve been working with the racetrack since that point to find a different location—and it’s not easy.”
