Father-Son duo to win a NASCAR Cup Series Championship

NASCAR is a legacy for many drivers but for others making their own legacy in NASCAR has a much more worth. Here are the families in NASCAR who have made some of the legendary wins.

Chase & Bill Elliott

Last Sunday, at Phoenix Raceway,  Chase Elliott won a championship and also became the third son of an already NASCAR Cup Series champion to complete the family tradition. 

 

Richard & Lee Petty 

The Petty family was the first family to have this tradition started. Here Lee Petty had won three titles in 1954, 1958 and 1959 and later Richard Petty won 200 races and made a record. He also won seven championships in 1964, 1967, 1971, 1972, 1974, 1975 and 1979.

Dale & Ned Jarrett 

From the Jarrett family, Ned Jarrett won three championships, two in 1961 and one in 1965. Later, after 34 years, Dale won the 1999 championship.
