Every driver’s driving style is unique, and Bubba Wallace has something quirky about his driving style too, as he shared in a Discovery interview in 2018.
“No one has the same driving style. I don’t know if anybody has a grip like I do. My left hand here is at 9 o’clock, my right hand a little bit between 3 and 4 o’clock, but I’ll put my finger, my pointer finger up so it’s a little weird. So I’m always pointing up when I’m driving. I don’t know if I’m already giving myself a number one because we’re gonna win that race. I don’t know why I do that, I just do.”
After having his career’s best season yet in the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series, Bubba says, “As much as I’m ready for the off-season, I’m ready for next season to start.”
“Just having conversations [recently] about how we are so much better as a team and as a manufacturer from Phoenix [race] one to Phoenix [race] two, it just makes you think about how much better you’ll be starting the year off.”
