Denny makes a smart choice

In the previous episode of his Actions Detrimental podcast, Denny admitted that he intentionally wrecked Ross Chastain at the Phoenix Raceway. However, things have changed as per the latest podcast episode. Hamlin chose not to advocate his penalty situation on a podcast to avoid giving NASCAR time to prepare for the appeal.

What did Denny say?

He said, “I think it’s smarter if I just kinda keep my opinions and my facts in my pocket.” However, he made sure to inform his fans that he will discuss it, once the air is clear. He said, “we’re not gonna get into it today, We will, when this appeal is over.”

Why did Denny confess to begin with?

While he is keeping things under wrap this time around, he did explain some of his actions and why he talked about the Ross Chastain bit at all. He added, “My job on this podcast and what I did last week is give the fans listening an inside perspective of what did the TV not show.”
