Recently, Kyle Larson registered a $12,000 win at the Golden Isles Speedway. However, what happened next would definitely go down as one of the most embarrassing moments in Larson’s career.
After clinching a win at the GIS Dirt, Larson attempted to celebrate his victory by performing donuts. However, as soon as the Hendrick Motorsports driver tried to spin at turn 4, his vehicle rammed into the concrete wall. Hence, botching his own victory celebrations.
Although most Twitter users were relieved about the fact that Larson’s vehicle had already gone through inspection, a few others were happy that the 2021 Cup Series champ did not wreck his car during the race.
“I’m an idiot. I was way too excited, obviously. So, I feel really bad that I tore up a perfectly good race car. That was very embarrassing. I don’t know what to say, but sorry.”
