It is fairly well known that Jimmie Johnson is returning to the NASCAR Cup Series on a part-time basis. However, it seems that whoever was in charge of his credentials did not get the memo at all.
As Johnson shared his credentials on Twitter, the #84 driver was understandably confused when his credentials referred to him as a full-season driver.
Johnson will be competing in 5 races this year, with the first race being the Daytona 500. He will also join Mike Rockenfeller and Jenson Button in the NASCAR Garage 56 Le Mans team.
Jimmie has established his status as a legendary NASCAR driver and he does not have to worry about making a mark now. He will have to just take things one race at a time as this will be his first time in the Next Gen car.
