Kevin Harvick overcame pit lane trouble to somehow finish in fourth place at the Sonoma Raceway on Sunday. Admittedly, the Stewart-Haas Racing driver was furious with his pit crew for a painfully slow pit stop. Despite the disappointing race, he can take comfort in the fact that he has beaten Jeff Gordon’s tally for the most lead-lap finishes.
Jeff Gordon had the most lead-lap finishes in the NASCAR Cup Series, with 588 most lead-lap lap finishes.
In Sonoma, Kevin Harvick beat Jeff Gordon's record by setting 589 led lap finishes.
