One of the most promising drivers in NASCAR, Hendrick Motorsports’ Kyle Larson is an inspiration to many. Growing up racing sprint cars and midgets, Larson has incredible car control that helps him adapt to a wide range of racing genres. And now, it looks like the 2021 Cup Series champion might have some competition.
In a recent interview with Fox, two-time Cup Series champion Kyle Busch talked about his son Brexton Busch’s preparation as the duo eyes the Bullring trophy in Vegas. During the conversation, Kyle Busch revealed that his son likes to run a lot of races. He said, “Last year was what, 68 races? I think 68. So, yeah, he runs a lot.”
Looking at the number of races, it’s clear that the young seven-year-old Brexton embodies a similar racing spirit as Kyle Larson who loves to keep himself busy by lapping the tracks. Apart from participating in the Cup Series, Larson also loves to drive in the Xfinity Series while dabbling in dirt races throughout the year.
“My NASCAR team has no input on my schedule. Once everybody releases their schedule, I get like a 12-month calendar. I will plug in a bunch of races that I have as options for me […] I just highlight the one that makes the most logistical sense.”
