Kyle Busch had stated that he would have a surprise announcement during the Phoenix race weekend. Well as it turns out the announcements have arrived, but instead of a surprise, it has mostly left fans in a bad mood.
As per the announcement, KBM will only be running two cars, the #4 and #51 to be exact and the drivers in the lineup are, Chase Purdy and Jack Wood. At best, they can be regarded as mid-tier drivers.
Aside from this announcement, a journalist pointed out that Kyle Busch had mentioned, “@KyleBusch hinted @JimmieJohnson could run a race in @KBMteam‘s all-star truck in 2023 Says any #Indy500 opportunities for himself next year have ‘dried up.’“
